About This Place

Located at 1265 Morse Rd in Columbus, Ohio, Saraga International Grocery is a treasure trove for anyone passionate about discovering global flavors and specialty ingredients that are hard to find in typical supermarkets. Serving as both an Asian and Mexican grocery store, as well as a comprehensive international supermarket, Saraga offers a unique shopping experience that brings the vibrant diversity of world cuisine under one roof.

Stepping inside Saraga feels like embarking on a culinary adventure. Shoppers repeatedly praise the expansive selection of authentic Asian snacks, beverages, fresh vegetables, premium seafood, and a variety of meats that cater to adventurous home cooks and food lovers alike. As customer Vincent Lam noted, “I can find anything that I need here,” capturing the essence of Saraga’s value as a one-stop international market.

What truly sets Saraga apart is its generous range of fresh produce often unavailable in standard grocery stores. Larry Monroy’s enthusiastic comparison of the store to an "amusement park" perfectly illustrates the excitement and delight customers feel when exploring the aisles teeming with high-potency fruits and vegetables. The availability of hard-to-source items makes Saraga a vital resource for those looking to create authentic dishes from diverse cultural traditions.

While some shoppers mention that the store layout is a bit compact and could benefit from some decluttering, it does little to diminish the overall experience. Yasmeen Abdulaziz’s mention of a charming bakery tucked in one corner adds an inviting touch, offering not just groceries, but a slice of culinary culture with freshly baked goods that tempt your senses and complement your shopping visit.

It’s important to note that Saraga isn’t aimed at conventional American grocery shoppers seeking everyday staples at rock-bottom prices. As noted by customer FLM, prices may be higher than average supermarkets, but this is reflective of the specialty products and hard-to-find international items that are the store’s hallmark. For those pursuing global cuisine, it’s considered the best local option—no matter what unique ingredient you’re after.

Beyond grocery shopping, the plaza itself enhances convenience with additional amenities including an American-style bakery, diverse restaurants, and even a phone store nearby. This makes Saraga not just a grocery stop, but a cultural hub where food lovers and community members come together.

For anyone passionate about authentic international ingredients or seeking to explore global food cultures within Columbus, Saraga International Grocery is a welcome and invaluable destination. Its rich variety, quality fresh produce, and cultural authenticity make every visit feel like a mini expedition, igniting creativity in the kitchen and delight in discovery.

This is a great international grocery. There are various items including Asian snacks and beverages, fresh vegetables, seafood and meat, and many household goods. I can find anything that I need here. The price is reasonable. There are also an American-style bakery, restaurants, and a phone store at this plaza. The room is kind of small and packed and WiFi is not available.

There is a little bit of everything here. If you are looking for American type things I do not recommend. The prices are significantly higher than the average supermarket. This rating is only for people that are looking for foods that are normally not found in American supermarkets. However, if you are looking for foreign foods then this is most likely your best bet. Doesn't matter what it is. There's everything from Asian, to Spanish, Middle Eastern, Africa, Europe, and more. Chances are if you do not find it here you may not be able to find it anywhere in Columbus or the surrounding cities.

There's a bakery in the corner that's amazing, and I like seeing the different cultures stuff. I would say if could use some cleanup and declutter though.

It makes me so happy to have an international grocery store like this one so close to my house! This store was great! They have a lot of the things I cook with and tons of fruit and veggies that you cant find in other stores.

This place is like an amusement park! You need a full day to really see everything. Wonderful place to find high quality diverse produce. All kinds of high potency vegetables and fruits. It’s like a healthy big box store! (Shhhh…There’s also sweets! Just sayin )

November. Due to Thanksgiving, some fresh grocery was gone, but if you dig and keep looking, you’ll find what you need, or you can find alternative, generally it’s Fully stocked and always fresh If I gave less than five stars before that means I visited the store at the end of the day where fresh fruits and vegetables were not restocked and not as fresh as in the morning. Lately I tried the start of the day shopping and it was the best shopping experience I have ever had. Everything was fresh and appealing. So I recommend you go early by 9 am. I have to say it’s kind of pricey but I admit the prices are up in all the stores in USA.

“A great place to shop for international cuisines and grocery items! You’ll find vegetables and fruits that remind you of home—whether from Africa, Asia, or the Americas. They have a wide variety of options to meet international needs, and there’s even a bakery
